Initially developed by Code42 but now an independent enterprise-focused solution trusted by universities and large enterprises alike for its compliance support and data resilience capabilities. While not designed for primary file storage or archiving purposes, CrashPlan excels in providing reliable disaster recovery solutions against device failures or cyberattacks.
